How To Install perl-Tie-Cache on CentOS 7

on CentOS 7.
What is perl-Tie-Cache
This module implements a least recently used (LRU) cache in memory through a tie interface. Any time data is stored in the tied hash, that key/value pair has an entry time associated with it, and as the cache fills up, those members of the cache that are the oldest are removed to make room for new entries.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-Tie-Cache
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Tie-Cache.
Install perl-Tie-Cache on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Tie-Cache
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Tie-Cache
Install perl-Tie-Cache on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Tie-Cache
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Tie-Cache
How To Uninstall perl-Tie-Cache on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the perl-Tie-Cache
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Tie-Cache
