How To Install perl-Taint-Runtime on CentOS 8

What is perl-Taint-Runtime
This module enables run-time taint checking, for cases where the -T switch on the command line is not appropriate or viable. There are a somewhat limited number of legitimate use cases where you should use this module instead of the -T switch. Unless you have a specific and good reason for not using the -T option, you should use the -T option.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Taint-Runtime on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Taint-Runtime.
Install perl-Taint-Runtime on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Taint-Runtime using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Taint-Runtime
Install perl-Taint-Runtime on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Taint-Runtime using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Taint-Runtime
How To Uninstall perl-Taint-Runtime on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the perl-Taint-Runtime package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Taint-Runtime
