What is perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel

The Spreadsheet platform Excel binary file. Multiple worksheets can be added to a workbook and formatting can be applied to cells. Text, numbers, formulas, hyperlinks and images can be written to the cells. The Excel file produced by this module is compatible with 97, 2000, 2002 and 2003. Generated files are also compatible with the spreadsheet applications Gnumeric and OpenOffice.org. This module cannot be used to read an Excel file. See Spreadsheet suggestions. This module cannot be used to write to an existing Excel file.

Install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel

Install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel

How To Uninstall perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel
