How To Install perl-Spiffy on CentOS 8

In this tutorial we learn how to install perl-Spiffy on CentOS 8.
What is perl-Spiffy
“Spiffy” is a framework and methodology for doing object oriented (OO) programming in Perl. Spiffy combines the best parts of Exporter.pm, base.pm, mixin.pm and SUPER.pm into one magic foundation class. It attempts to fix all the nits and warts of traditional Perl OO, in a clean, straightforward and (perhaps someday) standard way.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Spiffy on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Spiffy.
Install perl-Spiffy on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Spiffy using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Spiffy
Install perl-Spiffy on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Spiffy using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Spiffy
How To Uninstall perl-Spiffy on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the perl-Spiffy package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Spiffy
