How To Install perl-Parse-PMFile on AlmaLinux 8

The most of the code of this module is taken from the PAUSE code as of April 2013 almost verbatim. Thus, the heart of this module should be quite stable. However, I made it not to use pipe ("-|") as well as I stripped database-related code. If you encounter any issue, that’s most probably because of my modification.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Parse-PMFile on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Parse-PMFile.
Install perl-Parse-PMFile on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Parse-PMFile using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Parse-PMFile
Install perl-Parse-PMFile on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Parse-PMFile using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Parse-PMFile
How To Uninstall perl-Parse-PMFile on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the perl-Parse-PMFile package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Parse-PMFile
