How To Install perl-Module-Util on CentOS 7

What is perl-Module-Util

This module provides a few useful functions for manipulating module names. Its main aim is to centralize some of the functions commonly used by modules that manipulate other modules in some way, like converting module names to relative paths.

Install perl-Module-Util on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Module-Util using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install perl-Module-Util

Install perl-Module-Util on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-Module-Util using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-Module-Util

How To Uninstall perl-Module-Util on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the perl-Module-Util package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove perl-Module-Util
