How To Install perl-LWP-MediaTypes on AlmaLinux 8

What is perl-LWP-MediaTypes
This module provides functions for handling media (also known as MIME) types and encodings. The mapping from file extensions to media types is defined by the media.types file. If the ~/.media.types file exists it is used instead. For backwards compatibility we will also look for ~/.mime.types.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-LWP-MediaTypes on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-LWP-MediaTypes.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-LWP-MediaTypes using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-LWP-MediaTypes
Install perl-LWP-MediaTypes on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install perl-LWP-MediaTypes using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-LWP-MediaTypes
How To Uninstall perl-LWP-MediaTypes on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the perl-LWP-MediaTypes package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-LWP-MediaTypes
