What is perl-HTTP-Tiny

This is a very simple HTTP/1.1 client, designed for doing simple GET requests without the overhead of a large framework like LWP It is more correct and more complete than HTTP proxies (currently only non-authenticating ones) and redirection. It also correctly resumes after EINTR.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-HTTP-Tiny on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-HTTP-Tiny.

Install perl-HTTP-Tiny on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTTP-Tiny using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install perl-HTTP-Tiny

Install perl-HTTP-Tiny on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTTP-Tiny using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-HTTP-Tiny

How To Uninstall perl-HTTP-Tiny on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the perl-HTTP-Tiny package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove perl-HTTP-Tiny
