This module provides a complete implementation of the HTTP content negotiation algorithm specified in draft-ietf-http-v11-spec-00.ps chapter 12. Content negotiation allows for the selection of a preferred content representation based upon attributes of the negotiable variants and the value of the various Accept* header fields in the request.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-HTTP-Negotiate
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-HTTP-Negotiate.
Install perl-HTTP-Negotiate on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTTP-Negotiate
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-HTTP-Negotiate
Install perl-HTTP-Negotiate on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTTP-Negotiate
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-HTTP-Negotiate
How To Uninstall perl-HTTP-Negotiate on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the perl-HTTP-Negotiate
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-HTTP-Negotiate
