What is perl-HTML-Template
This module attempts make using HTML templates simple and natural. It extends standard HTML with a few new HTML-esque tags - <TMPL_VAR>, <TMPL_LOOP>, <TMPL_INCLUDE>, <TMPL_IF> and <TMPL_ELSE>. The file written with HTML and these new tags is called a template. It is usually saved separate from your script - possibly even created by someone else! Using this module you fill in the values for the variables, loops and branches declared in the template. This allows you to separate design - the HTML - from the data, which you generate in the Perl script.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-HTML-Template
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-HTML-Template.
Install perl-HTML-Template on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTML-Template
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-HTML-Template
Install perl-HTML-Template on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-HTML-Template
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-HTML-Template
How To Uninstall perl-HTML-Template on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the perl-HTML-Template
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-HTML-Template
