How To Install perl-Font-TTF on CentOS 8

What is perl-Font-TTF
Perl module for TrueType font hacking. Supports reading, processing and writing of the following tables fdsc, feat, fpgm, glyf, hdmx, head, hhea, hmtx, kern, loca, maxp, mort, name, post, prep, prop, vhea, vmtx and the reading and writing of all other table types. In short, you can do almost anything with a standard TrueType font with this module.
We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Font-TTF on CentOS 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Font-TTF.
Install perl-Font-TTF on CentOS 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Font-TTF using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Font-TTF
Install perl-Font-TTF on CentOS 8 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Font-TTF using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Font-TTF
How To Uninstall perl-Font-TTF on CentOS 8
To uninstall only the perl-Font-TTF package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Font-TTF
