What is perl-File-RsyncP

File compatible with Rsync 2.5.5 - 2.6.3 (protocol versions 26-28). It can send or receive files, either by running rsync on the remote machine, or connecting to an rsyncd daemon on the remote machine.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-File-RsyncP on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-File-RsyncP.

Install perl-File-RsyncP on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-File-RsyncP using yum by running the following command:

sudo yum -y install perl-File-RsyncP

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

How To Uninstall perl-File-RsyncP on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the perl-File-RsyncP package we can use the following command:
