How To Install perl-Data-HexDump on CentOS 7

In this tutorial we learn how to install perl-Data-HexDump
on CentOS 7.
What is perl-Data-HexDump
Dump in hexadecimal the content of a scalar. The result is returned in a string. Each line of the result consists of the offset in the source in the leftmost column of each line, followed by one or more columns of data from the source in hexadecimal. The rightmost column of each line shows the printable characters (all others are shown as single dots).
We can use yum
or dnf
to install perl-Data-HexDump

Install perl-Data-HexDump on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Data-HexDump
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install perl-Data-HexDump
Install perl-Data-HexDump on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install perl-Data-HexDump
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install perl-Data-HexDump
How To Uninstall perl-Data-HexDump on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the perl-Data-HexDump
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove perl-Data-HexDump
