What is perl-Data-Binary

This simple module provides string equivalents to the -T / -B operators. Since these only work on file names and file handles, this module provides the same functions but on strings. Note that the actual implementation is currently different, basically because the -T / -B functions are in C/XS, and this module is written in pure Perl. For now, anyway.

We can use yum or dnf to install perl-Data-Binary on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install perl-Data-Binary.

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

To uninstall only the perl-Data-Binary package we can use the following command:
