What is perl-DB_File

DB_File is a module which allows Perl programs to make use of the facilities provided by Berkeley DB version 1.x (if you have a newer version of DB, you will be limited to functionality provided by interface of version 1.x). The interface defined here mirrors the Berkeley DB interface closely.

Install perl-DB_File on CentOS 7 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

sudo yum makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-DB_File using yum by running the following command:

Install perl-DB_File on CentOS 7 Using dnf

If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first. Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache

After updating yum database, We can install perl-DB_File using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install perl-DB_File

How To Uninstall perl-DB_File on CentOS 7

To uninstall only the perl-DB_File package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove perl-DB_File
