How To Install pd-pdogg on Debian 11

What is pd-pdogg
pd-pdogg is:
pdogg is a library of objects for Pd for reading and writing Ogg/Vorbis streams and files. There is a stream player for multichannel audio streams and a streaming source client to send Ogg/Vorbis encoded audio streams over LAN or internet using JRoar, Icecast2 or PeerCast. There are also objects for reading and writing Ogg/Vorbis files.
There are three methods to install pd-pdogg
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pd-pdogg Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pd-pdogg
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pd-pdogg

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pd-pdogg
using apt

sudo apt -y install pd-pdogg

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install pd-pdogg
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install pd-pdogg
How To Uninstall pd-pdogg on Debian 11
To uninstall only the pd-pdogg
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove pd-pdogg
Uninstall pd-pdogg And Its Dependencies
To uninstall pd-pdogg
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove pd-pdogg
Remove pd-pdogg Configurations and Data
To remove pd-pdogg
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
