The pcp-doc package provides useful information on using and configuring the Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) toolkit for system level performance management. It includes tutorials, HOWTOs, and other detailed documentation about the internals of core PCP utilities and daemons, and the PCP graphical tools.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install pcp-doc
on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install pcp-doc.
Install pcp-doc on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install pcp-doc
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install pcp-doc
Install pcp-doc on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install pcp-doc
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install pcp-doc
How To Uninstall pcp-doc on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the pcp-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove pcp-doc
