How To Install pcp-conf on Kali Linux

The pcp-conf package contains important runtime configuration files required by all programs and libraries that make up the Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) toolkit.
The Performance Co-Pilot provides a unifying abstraction for all of the interesting performance data in a system, and allows client applications to easily retrieve and process any subset of that data.
There are three methods to install pcp-conf
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install pcp-conf Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pcp-conf
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pcp-conf

using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install pcp-conf

by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install pcp-conf
Install pcp-conf Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install pcp-conf
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install pcp-conf
How To Uninstall pcp-conf on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the pcp-conf
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove pcp-conf
Uninstall pcp-conf And Its Dependencies
To uninstall pcp-conf
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove pcp-conf

sudo apt-get -y purge pcp-conf
