How To Install pchar on Ubuntu 18.04

What is pchar
pchar is:
pchar is a reimplementation of the pathchar utility, written by Van Jacobson. Both programs attempt to characterize the bandwidth, latency, and loss of links along an end-to-end path through the Internet. pchar works in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
There are three methods to install pchar
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pchar Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pchar
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pchar
Install pchar Using apt
Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pchar

Install pchar Using aptitude
