How To Install pcb-lesstif on Ubuntu 18.04

PCB is an interactive printed circuit board editor for the X11 window system. PCB includes a rats nest feature, design rule checking, and can provide industry standard RS-274-X (Gerber), NC drill, and centroid data (X-Y data) output for use in the board fabrication and assembly process. PCB offers high end features such as an autorouter and trace optimizer which can tremendously reduce layout time.
This package contains the LessTif user-interface for pcb.
There are three methods to install pcb-lesstif on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pcb-lesstif Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pcb-lesstif using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pcb-lesstif

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pcb-lesstif using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install pcb-lesstif
Install pcb-lesstif Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
