How To Install pbbarcode on Ubuntu 18.04

The pbbarcode package provides tools for annotating PacBio sequencing reads with barcode information. Typically, pbbarcode is called in context of a SMRTPipe workflow as opposed to directly on the command line, however, users are encouraged to utilize the command-line utility directly, as more options are available.
This package is part of the SMRTAnalysis suite.
There are three methods to install pbbarcode on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pbbarcode Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pbbarcode using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pbbarcode

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pbbarcode using apt by running the following command:
