How To Install patch on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is patch
patch is:
Patch will take a patch file containing any of the four forms of difference listing produced by the diff program and apply those differences to an original file, producing a patched version.
There are three methods to install patch
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install patch Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install patch
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install patch

sudo apt-get -y autoremove patch

configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge patch
