What is parole
parole is:
Parole is a media player for the Xfce desktop environment, written using the GStreamer framework.
Parole features playback of local media files, including video with subtitles support, DVD/CD and live streams; it is also extensible via plugins.
This package contains Parole media player.
There are three methods to install parole
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install parole Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install parole
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install parole

After updating apt database, We can install parole
using apt

Install parole Using aptitude

How To Uninstall parole on Debian 12
