What is parasail
parasail is:
This package contains a command-line aligner based on libparasail. Parasail is a SIMD C library containing implementations of the Smith-Waterman, Needleman-Wunsch, and various semi-global pairwise sequence alignment algorithm.
There are three methods to install parasail on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install parasail Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install parasail using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install parasail

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install parasail using apt by running the following command:

Install parasail Using aptitude
