How To Install paraclu on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install paraclu on Kali Linux.
What is paraclu
paraclu is:
Paraclu finds clusters in data attached to sequences. It was first applied to transcription start counts in genome sequences, but it could be applied to other things too.
Paraclu is intended to explore the data, imposing minimal prior assumptions, and letting the data speak for itself.
One consequence of this is that paraclu can find clusters within clusters. Real data sometimes exhibits clustering at multiple scales: there may be large, rarefied clusters; and within each large cluster there may be several small, dense clusters.
There are three methods to install paraclu on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install paraclu Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install paraclu using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install paracluInstall paraclu Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install paraclu using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install paracluInstall paraclu Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install paraclu using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install paracluHow To Uninstall paraclu on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the paraclu package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove paracluUninstall paraclu And Its Dependencies
To uninstall paraclu and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove paracluRemove paraclu Configurations and Data
To remove paraclu configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge paracluRemove paraclu configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove paraclu configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge paracluDependencies
