The idea behind Paperwork is “scan & forget”: You can just scan a new document and forget about it until the day you need it again. In other words, let the machine do most of the work for you.

There are three methods to install paperwork-backend on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install paperwork-backend Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
