How To Install pagetools on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install pagetools on Kali Linux.
What is pagetools
pagetools is:
This program determines the skew angle for text, and works with black/white images in TIFF or PBM format. To achieve this, it uses an original algorithm based on a fast implementation of the Radon transform. This program is part of the Page Layout Detection Tools project, which aims to automate the layout detection in scanned page images.
There are three methods to install pagetools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pagetools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install pagetools using apt-get by running the following command:
