How To Install pacman on Debian 10

In this tutorial we learn how to install pacman
on Debian 10.
What is pacman
pacman is:
You are Pacman, and you are supposed to eat all the small dots to get to the next level. You are also supposed to keep away from the ghosts, if they take you, you lose one life, unless you have eaten a large dot, then you can, for a limited amount of time, chase and eat the ghosts. There is also bonus available, for a limited amount of time. An X gives just points, but a little pacman gives an extra life.

on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install pacman Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pacman
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install pacman

Install pacman Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install pacman

How To Uninstall pacman on Debian 10
To uninstall only the pacman
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove pacman

To uninstall pacman
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove pacman
Remove pacman Configurations and Data
To remove pacman
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge pacman
