How To Install package-update-indicator on Kali Linux

What is package-update-indicator
package-update-indicator is:
This small utility which regularly checks for software updates and notifies the user about available updates using desktop notifications and either a status notifier icon or a system tray icon.
It is primarily intended for desktops which do not already have this functionality built-in, such as Xfce.
There are three methods to install package-update-indicator on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install package-update-indicator Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install package-update-indicator using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
