How To Install ophcrack-cli on Ubuntu 18.04

Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables. This is a new variant of Hellman’s original trade-off, with better performance. It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.
It works for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7.
This package contains ophcrack with command line interface only.
There are three methods to install ophcrack-cli on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ophcrack-cli Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ophcrack-cli using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ophcrack-cli

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ophcrack-cli using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ophcrack-cli

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
