OpenVLBI is an open source correlator for astronomical interferometers. with OpenVLBI astronomers can join together more telescopes to observe celestial objects at great resolution. OpenVLBI can be used with radio antennas or optical sensors. This package includes test and multi-contextual client/server applications, the development and runtime libraries.

This is a metapackage to install all openvlbi packages.

There are three methods to install openvlbi on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install openvlbi Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
