How To Install openstack-clients on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install openstack-clients on Kali Linux.
What is openstack-clients
openstack-clients is:
OpenStack is a reliable cloud infrastructure. Its mission is to produce the ubiquitous cloud computing platform that will meet the needs of public and private cloud providers regardless of size, by being simple to implement and massively scalable.
This metapackage will install all of the Openstack clients available for remote controlling block devices (Cinder), Image Service (Glance), Identity (Keystone), Compute (Nova), Networking (Neutron) and Object Storage (Swift).
There are three methods to install openstack-clients on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install openstack-clients Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openstack-clients using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install openstack-clientsInstall openstack-clients Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openstack-clients using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install openstack-clientsInstall openstack-clients Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openstack-clients using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the openstack-clients package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove openstack-clientsUninstall openstack-clients And Its Dependencies
To uninstall openstack-clients and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove openstack-clientsRemove openstack-clients Configurations and Data
To remove openstack-clients configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge openstack-clientsRemove openstack-clients configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
