How To Install openssl-unsafe on Kali Linux

What is openssl-unsafe
openssl-unsafe is:
This package is part of the OpenSSL project’s implementation of the SSL and TLS cryptographic protocols for secure communication over the Internet.
It contains the general-purpose command line binary /usr/bin/openssl, useful for cryptographic operations such as:
- creating RSA, DH, and DSA key parameters;
- creating X.509 certificates, CSRs, and CRLs;
- calculating message digests;
- encrypting and decrypting with ciphers;
- testing SSL/TLS clients and servers;
- handling S/MIME signed or encrypted mail.
There are three methods to install openssl-unsafe on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install openssl-unsafe Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openssl-unsafe using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install openssl-unsafeInstall openssl-unsafe Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openssl-unsafe using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
