How To Install opensaml2-schemas on Ubuntu 18.04

opensaml2-schemas is:
OpenSAML is an open source implementation of the OASIS Security Assertion Markup Language Specification. It contains a set of open source C++ classes that support the SAML 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 specifications.
This package contains the XML schema files used by the OpenSAML library.
There are three methods to install opensaml2-schemas on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install opensaml2-schemas Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install opensaml2-schemas using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install opensaml2-schemas

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install opensaml2-schemas using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install opensaml2-schemas
Install opensaml2-schemas Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install opensaml2-schemas using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install opensaml2-schemas
How To Uninstall opensaml2-schemas on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the opensaml2-schemas package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove opensaml2-schemas
Uninstall opensaml2-schemas And Its Dependencies
To uninstall opensaml2-schemas and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove opensaml2-schemas
Remove opensaml2-schemas Configurations and Data
To remove opensaml2-schemas configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge opensaml2-schemas
Remove opensaml2-schemas configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove opensaml2-schemas configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge opensaml2-schemas
