How To Install opensaml-schemas on Ubuntu 20.04

opensaml-schemas is:
OpenSAML is an open source implementation of the OASIS Security Assertion Markup Language Specification. It contains a set of open source C++ classes that support the SAML 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 specifications.
This package contains the XML schema files used by the OpenSAML library.
There are three methods to install opensaml-schemas on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install opensaml-schemas Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install opensaml-schemas using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install opensaml-schemas

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install opensaml-schemas using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install opensaml-schemas
Install opensaml-schemas Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install opensaml-schemas using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install opensaml-schemas
How To Uninstall opensaml-schemas on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the opensaml-schemas package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove opensaml-schemas
Uninstall opensaml-schemas And Its Dependencies
To uninstall opensaml-schemas and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove opensaml-schemas
Remove opensaml-schemas Configurations and Data
To remove opensaml-schemas configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge opensaml-schemas
Remove opensaml-schemas configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove opensaml-schemas configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge opensaml-schemas
