How To Install openni2-utils on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install openni2-utils on Kali Linux.
What is openni2-utils
openni2-utils is:
OpenNI2 is a framework for getting data to support ‘Natural Interaction’, i.e. skeleton tracking, gesture tracking, and similar ways of getting data from humans. OpenNI2 provides the interface for physical devices and for middleware components. The API enables modules to be registered in the OpenNI2 framework, which then produce sensory data. OpenNI2 also allows selection of different hardware and middleware modules.
This package provides a number of related utilities for debugging, testing, and view the results of the sensor modules.
There are three methods to install openni2-utils on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install openni2-utils Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openni2-utils using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install openni2-utilsInstall openni2-utils Using apt

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
