Opencryptoki implements the PKCS#11 specification v2.11 for a set of cryptographic hardware, such as IBM 4764 and 4765 crypto cards, and the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip. Opencryptoki also brings a software token implementation that can be used without any cryptographic hardware. This package brings the necessary libraries and files to support Trusted Platform Module (TPM) devices in the opencryptoki stack.
We can use yum or dnf to install opencryptoki-tpmtok on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install opencryptoki-tpmtok.
Install opencryptoki-tpmtok on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install opencryptoki-tpmtok using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install opencryptoki-tpmtok
Install opencryptoki-tpmtok on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install opencryptoki-tpmtok using yum by running the following command:

How To Uninstall opencryptoki-tpmtok on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the opencryptoki-tpmtok package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove opencryptoki-tpmtok
