How To Install openbsd-inetd on Kali Linux

What is openbsd-inetd
openbsd-inetd is:
The inetd server is a network daemon program that specializes in managing incoming network connections. Its configuration file tells it what program needs to be run when an incoming connection is received. Any service port may be configured for either of the tcp or udp protocols.
This is a port of the OpenBSD daemon with some debian-specific features. This package supports IPv6, built-in libwrap access control, binding to specific addresses, UNIX domain sockets and socket buffers tuning.
There are three methods to install openbsd-inetd on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install openbsd-inetd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openbsd-inetd using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install openbsd-inetdInstall openbsd-inetd Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install openbsd-inetd using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the openbsd-inetd package we can use the following command:

To uninstall openbsd-inetd and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove openbsd-inetdRemove openbsd-inetd Configurations and Data
To remove openbsd-inetd configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge openbsd-inetdRemove openbsd-inetd configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove openbsd-inetd configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
