How To Install octomap-tools on Kali Linux

octomap-tools is:
The OctoMap library implements a 3D occupancy grid mapping approach, providing data structures and mapping algorithms in C++ particularly suited for robotics. The map implementation is based on an octree and is designed to meet the following requirements: Full 3D model, Updatable, Flexible and Compact. This package contains tools to use with Octomap library.
There are three methods to install octomap-tools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install octomap-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install octomap-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install octomap-toolsInstall octomap-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install octomap-tools using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install octomap-toolsInstall octomap-tools Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
