How To Install octave-vlfeat on Debian 12

octave-vlfeat is:
VLFeat implements popular computer vision algorithms including MSER, k-means, hierarchical k-means, agglomerative information bottleneck, and quick shift. It is written in C for efficiency and compatibility, with interfaces in GNU octave for ease of use, and detailed documentation throughout. Note that some of the upstream library is under patent protection, and those components (SIFT for instance) are not included in this package

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install octave-vlfeat using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install octave-vlfeat
