How To Install octave-msh on Ubuntu 18.04

What is octave-msh
octave-msh is:
This package creates and manages triangular and tetrahedral meshes for Finite Element or Finite Volume PDE solvers in Octave, a scientific computation software. It uses a mesh data structure compatible with pdetool. It relies on gmsh for unstructured mesh generation.
This Octave add-on package is part of the Octave-Forge project.
There are three methods to install octave-msh on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install octave-msh Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install octave-msh using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install octave-msh using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install octave-msh
How To Uninstall octave-msh on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the octave-msh package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove octave-msh
Uninstall octave-msh And Its Dependencies
To uninstall octave-msh and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove octave-msh
Remove octave-msh Configurations and Data
To remove octave-msh configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge octave-msh
Remove octave-msh configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove octave-msh configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge octave-msh
