JSONLab is a free and open-source JSON/UBJSON/MessagePack encoder and decoder written in the native MATLAB language. JSONLab supports both MATLAB and GNU Octave.

There are three methods to install octave-jsonlab on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
