This package provides additional functions related to control theory in Octave, a numerical computation software. The functions are based on SLICOT Fortran library http://www.slicot.org.

This Octave add-on package is part of the Octave-Forge project.

There are three methods to install octave-control on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install octave-control Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get -y purge octave-control
