How To Install ocamlweb on Ubuntu 18.04

What is ocamlweb
ocamlweb is:
Literate programming, as defined by Knuth, means to combine program code and documentation into one source document from which program code and documentation can be extracted. The approach of ocamlweb is that documentation is to be included in the program code as special comments. The ocamlweb tool extracts from this the documented program code as LaTeX document, while no special preprocessing is required to compile the source files.
There are three methods to install ocamlweb
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install ocamlweb Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install ocamlweb

After updating apt database, We can install ocamlweb

sudo apt -y install ocamlweb
Install ocamlweb Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ocamlweb
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ocamlweb
How To Uninstall ocamlweb on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the ocamlweb
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ocamlweb
Uninstall ocamlweb And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ocamlweb
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ocamlweb
Remove ocamlweb Configurations and Data
To remove ocamlweb
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ocamlweb
Remove ocamlweb configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ocamlweb
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ocamlweb
