How To Install nyancat on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install nyancat on Kali Linux.

What is nyancat

nyancat is:

nyancat is a program to display an animated poptart cat in your terminal.

This is a standalone program only. To serve nyancat to many users, the nyancat-server package is required.

There are three methods to install nyancat on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install nyancat Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install nyancat using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install nyancat using apt by running the following command:

Install nyancat Using aptitude
