How To Install nvidia-xconfig on Kali Linux

This tool is deprecated. The NVIDIA drivers now automatically integrate with the Xorg Xserver configuration. Creating an xorg.conf is no longer needed for normal setups.
The nvidia-xconfig program helps with manipulation of X configuration files, primarily for systems that use the non-free drivers provided by NVIDIA. It automatically changes the configuration to use the NVIDIA driver and can add additional options given on the command line.
There are three methods to install nvidia-xconfig on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nvidia-xconfig Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nvidia-xconfig using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nvidia-xconfigInstall nvidia-xconfig Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To remove nvidia-xconfig configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nvidia-xconfigRemove nvidia-xconfig configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nvidia-xconfig configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
