How To Install nut-xml on Kali Linux

What is nut-xml
nut-xml is:
Network UPS Tools (NUT) is a client/server monitoring system that allows computers to share uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and power distribution unit (PDU) hardware. Clients access the hardware through the server, and are notified whenever the power status changes.
This package provides netxml-ups, which supports UPS models from Eaton or MGE that use an XML/HTTP-based Network Management Card or Proxy.
There are three methods to install nut-xml on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nut-xml Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nut-xml using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nut-xmlInstall nut-xml Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nut-xml using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install nut-xmlInstall nut-xml Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install nut-xml using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nut-xmlHow To Uninstall nut-xml on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the nut-xml package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove nut-xmlUninstall nut-xml And Its Dependencies
To uninstall nut-xml and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nut-xmlRemove nut-xml Configurations and Data
To remove nut-xml configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nut-xmlRemove nut-xml configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nut-xml configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nut-xmlDependencies
