How To Install nut on Ubuntu 18.04

nut is:
Network UPS Tools (NUT) is a client/server monitoring system that allows computers to share uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and power distribution unit (PDU) hardware. Clients access the hardware through the server, and are notified whenever the power status changes.
This package is a metapackage that installs both nut-server and nut-client, in most cases it is sufficient for a basic UPS monitoring system.
There are three methods to install nut on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nut Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nut using apt-get by running the following command:

After updating apt database, We can install nut using apt by running the following command:

Install nut Using aptitude

How To Uninstall nut on Ubuntu 18.04

sudo apt-get -y autoremove nut
Remove nut Configurations and Data
To remove nut configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nut
