What is nunit2
NUnit is a unit testing framework for all .NET languages. It serves the same purpose as JUnit does in the Java world. It supports test categories, testing for exceptions and writing test results in plain text or XML. NUnit targets the CLI (Common Language Infrastructure) and supports Mono and the Microsoft .NET Framework.
We can use yum or dnf to install nunit2 on AlmaLinux 8. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install nunit2.
Install nunit2 on AlmaLinux 8 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nunit2 using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install nunit2
Install nunit2 on AlmaLinux 8 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install nunit2 using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install nunit2
How To Uninstall nunit2 on AlmaLinux 8
To uninstall only the nunit2 package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove nunit2
