How To Install nunit-gui on Debian 11

What is nunit-gui
nunit-gui is:
NUnit is a unit testing framework for all .NET languages. It serves the same purpose as JUnit does in the Java world. It supports test categories, testing for exceptions and writing test results in plain text or XML.
NUnit targets the CLI (Common Language Infrastructure) and supports Mono and the Microsoft .NET Framework.
This package contains the graphical front-end.
There are three methods to install nunit-gui
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nunit-gui Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nunit-gui
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nunit-gui
Install nunit-gui Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install nunit-gui
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install nunit-gui
Install nunit-gui Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install nunit-gui
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install nunit-gui
How To Uninstall nunit-gui on Debian 11
To uninstall only the nunit-gui
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove nunit-gui
Uninstall nunit-gui And Its Dependencies
To uninstall nunit-gui
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove nunit-gui
Remove nunit-gui Configurations and Data
To remove nunit-gui
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge nunit-gui
Remove nunit-gui configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove nunit-gui
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge nunit-gui
